Earwax Management

Earwax will usually take care of itself. It’s your body’s way to clean your ear canal and push out any dirt. But sometimes earwax becomes impacted against the eardrum or completely blocks the ear canal. Earwax can even cause tinnitus, a ringing in your ears. That’s why sometimes addressing hearing loss is as simple as earwax removal. 

You may be tempted to try to remove earwax using a cotton swab. Don’t. If earwax doesn’t come out on its own, try using ear drops. You can find them in the drug store or supermarket. Ear drops soften earwax so it comes out more easily during your next shower or bath.
